At La Crosse Christian Church worship is more than songs. It is a time to come before the Lord as His people with ONE voice and give Him the glory and honor He deserves. (Luke 4:8) Therefore our time of praise and worship is God centered as it is in heaven. (Rev. 4:8-11) Worship is expressed not only through written songs but also spontaneously (Psalm 96:1; 33:3 "new song"). It involves not only our words but our hearts, minds and emotions. People lift their hands (Psalm 134:2), dance (Psalm 150:4), shout (Psalm 98:4), lift banners (Psalm 20:5), kneel and bow (Psalm 95:6-7). The worship team is not on the stage to perform but to lead people into the presence of God and to honor Him. (Psalm 22:3) We also believe worship can be used as spiritual warfare. (2 Chronicles 20:21-22)

Our style would be considered contemporary—using mainly keyboards, guitars, and drums. We use worship songs from a broad spectrum of the Church, from the 1970s to today, including some hymns and original songs.
